PHY 109 - Fundamentals of Astronomy I A comprehensive approach to past and current astronomy. Astronomy I covers early astronomy; the distribution, properties and structure of stars and their life cycles; and our galaxy. Class, three hours; lab, two hours per week. Satisfies the Science and Math core requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes One year high school algebra or permission of instructor. Formerly SCN 109.
