SCN 106 - Chemistry II

The real world is made up of chemicals and runs on chemical processes. This course surveys the impact on our lives of chemistry in both world-wide issues (such as the ozone hole and global warning) and the personal (such as nutrition, drugs, legal and illegal, and aging). The emphasis is on discussion of issues, not chemical equations. Class, three hours; lab, two hours per week.
