REL 270 - Introduction to Islam

A survey of the beliefs, history, culture, gender issues, and diversity of the Islamic world. The class relies on primary sources (Qur’an, memoirs, and autobiographies) to discover the inner meanings of Islam and the Muslim way of life. Satisfies the World Cultures General Education requirement.
