BEN 430 - Transport Phenomena

This course explores how mass transfer, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics are key to the design of devices for biomedical applications. Examples like the transport of drugs in organs and organisms and the role of fluids in the development of disease demonstrate the powerful role that physics predictions play in understanding biology. Modeling in Matlab is used to test how changes affect natural and engineered systems.
