The Center for Leadership at Endicott College

The Center for Leadership at Endicott College (CFL) is the professional development and consulting group of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Center for Leadership programs include special lectures, workshops, consulting assignments, on-going seminars, and credit and non-credit certificate programs. The CFL brings practitioners and faculty members to work with manufacturing and service companies, community-based organizations, and municipalities to improve organizational, operational, and individual effectiveness. Programs are delivered at client sites, via the Internet, and on the Endicott College campus in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Custom-Developed Programs

The philosophy of the Center for Leadership is to tailor programs to the particular needs of the organization. The programs offered by the CFL are NOT “one size fits all.” Rather, representatives from the Center for Leadership spend a significant amount of time collecting information on the particulars of the situation prior to creating an instructional plan. Then, armed with an understanding of the relevant issues, the Center custom develops a program that is most responsive to the organization’s needs. This process maximizes the likelihood of a productive experience.

Interactive Instruction

The programs delivered by the Center for Leadership are not highly theoretical or totally academic in nature. Instead, these tailored programs employ an interactive model of instruction. Through role-plays, illustrative examples, and vigorous group discussions, the opportunity for lasting change is greatest. Our instructors are experienced in encouraging in facilitating structure group participation.

Center for Leadership instructors and seminar leaders are experienced practitioners and subject matter experts who work as coaches and facilitators to help individuals and organizations work towards significant improvement. Faculty members of Endicott College may also participate in program development and delivery.

Endicott Online

Endicott Online is the Internet based learning initiative from the Endicott College School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Our mission is to provide you with a high quality, adult oriented education as part of your professional and personal growth. The web-based, 3 credit, instructor-led courses are elusively delivered online by Endicott College faculty. Students access a secure classroom where they download weekly lectures and additional course materials, post assignments, and participate in class discussion. Instructors integrate text, lecture, and discussion to ensure our online students fully share in the course objectives.

Our faculty is experienced, qualified, and friendly. While we leverage technology to bring you these classes, rest assured that our instructors take an active role in the classroom. Endicott College, in all of its programs, supports the ideal of applied learning. Our goal is to make sure that the course materials are focused, relevant, and immediately applicable. Additionally, students are strongly encouraged to engage the instructor and their fellow students in thoughtful and spirited discussion, further advancing the learning. Students and faculty learn from each other in a positive and nurturing environment, fully supporting the “Endicott Experience”.

The primary mission of Endicott College is to instill in students an understanding of and an appreciation for professional and liberal studies. Deeply woven within this philosophy is the concept of applied learning, which has been the hallmark of Endicott. This mission is also an integral component of Endicott Online classes.
